So summer is almost over. Pretty much. Yeah... and I've been so busy planning other people's lives that I haven't had a chance to exhale on my own. I'm hoping that the baby shower I've been planning (it's tomorrow) doesn't end up in a funk. We've had 7 out of 45 people rsvp with a yes I can come while 15 have said no. So yeah...

After this shower I am not volunteering or stepping outside my means to help plan anything...until my best friend sets up plans for a wedding shower. hah.

I found out my workplace got an eviction notice three days from eviction so this week was hell on earth. I was notified at closing on Friday and we had to have everything cleared by Monday. Considering I work at a 2500 sq ft building, this was major moving in little time for a small business. We had a parking lot sale on Saturday and I worked out in the sun for three and a half hours and was burned like mad! I couldn't believe how red I was considering I'm naturally olive in complexion. They finished the lot sale on Tuesday. I came home, sat for two seconds and realized, crap, the baby shower! So I got last minute things done and tomorrow I shall enjoy the miniature celebration of life a bubbling.

I have no secure work now, I'm getting called in to do random tasks because my bosses can't find a temporary location. I think I might just quit and bum out my finances. Maybe take a leap of faith and get an etsy sellers account. *shrugs* I'm not sure what the future holds. But today I finally got paid to do what I love: read and draw! Actually, I was getting paid to pass out fliers regarding our move to people who came past the building, but considering I got eight passerbys in my five hours, I got a couple drawings and a good read in.
